This is how Bella dresses for a typical day at school. Nothing to see here. Same old, same old.
Category: Disneyland & Disney
This is from back in July when Cars Land had just opened. What a fun day, I remember everything about it. Bella is all decked out in her Tinkerbell finest including her hot pink shades. What a cutie. I think I’ve gone to Disneyland this year more than I have all my other years combined. Thank you Annual Passes!
Through the month of Oct Disneyland decorates some of the park with a Halloween theme. This years decorations didn’t seem to encompass as much as the park as Phia and I remember it, but none the less the parts that are done up, are done so beautifully.
Maybe the biggest transformation is the Haunted Mansion which gets a yearly make-over to a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. As Phia describes it, its “the best thing Disneyland does”. If you haven’t seen it it’s absolutely worth a look. If you are a fan of the movie then it just might be a dream come true. Every aspect of the mansion get refreshed with the NBC look and feel. Its absolutely amazing. Of course the lines suck but it’s only around for a month so you gotta do what you gotta do. Unfortunately we still think Bella is a little too small and might be scared so we only looked at it from the outside. Next year for sure she’ll be ready!
Bella went dressed as little Jasmine and was an instant hit at the park, just about every park attendant and a good deal of people we walked by said “Hello little Jasmine, you’re so cute!”. Bella is of course obvious to this because she’s laser focused finding cotton candy and characters. Full photo set here
This year Bella has come into her own in being a Dinsey maniac like her mother. She loves going to disneyland and has seem Mickey many times but she’s never really met him. We came across Mickey saying hello to some kids and there was a small line so we hopped in.
It was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. She started waving to him even before it was her turn. Her little face was so cute because you could tell she was star struck. She gave Mickey a big hug and took some photos with him. He used her mini call phone to call Minnie and gave her lots of high fives.
As it turned out Mickey was due his break and had to walk from the Gazebo he was in to the back lot area. Since Bella was the last kid Mickey took her by the hand and walked with her hand in hand across the boardwalk. It was such a cool move, all the kids and parents were stopping because – its Mickey Mouse…
It looked like a advertisement for Disneyland and of course I had my camera at the ready as always. I was able to get a few really good photos of them walking together (I literally laid on the ground like a psycho paparazzo) but I got the shot. Below is my favorite of the bunch. I’ll always remember the day Bella met Mickey and I hope she will too! Full set here
